3 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT 2023 TRAVEL

Over the past month my inbox has been flooded with client inquires for 2023 trips. And I’m here for it, because after the last minute planning phenomenon that was 2022, the further out we can get your travel arrangements made the better! And here’s why:

Everything is expensive. There I said it. It may not be a fun fact, but the truth is that traveling in 2023 will cost you more than traveling in 2022. I’m not an economist, so I won’t go through the laundry list of reasons why everything is so expensive, but I will say that mentally and financially preparing yourself now to spend more will help you budget and prioritize what is truly important to you.

COVID cancellation policies are fading fast. Remember when you could cancel a vacation and have a 2 year window to rebook? Well those lenient policies are becoming harder to find as we’ve figured out how to live and travel in a COVID world. Without that flexibility, what are your options if your travel gets disrupted because you get sick? There has not been a better time to brush up on travel insurance. Costing just a small percentage of your overall trip, travel insurance is your best defense of recouping any costs that would otherwise be non-refundable if you test positive.

The destinations that were popular this year will be popular next year. Even though it felt like everyone and their mother was in Italy, France, and Greece this summer, I promise you they weren’t! Those countries have always been on the top of travel wishlists, so if you plan on visiting in 2023, now is the time to start planning. Especially if you have your heart set on a particular hotel!

Reach out when you’re ready to plan your 2023 travels! My goal is to make your next trip a seamless experience where you can just show up and enjoy!
