WHERE TO STAY, EAT, & PLAY IN DUBLIN, IRELAND

It took two trips to make me a Dublin lover. The first time I went it was a whirlwind, flying over for 24 hours to hang out with a dear friend. This time, I slowed things down a bit and realized that between the warm and welcoming people, charming accents, history, and warm and welcoming whiskey, Dublin is kind of my spot!

Dublin, like any major metropolitan city has lots of nooks and crannies to explore, but it’s easy to navigate, walkable, and is packed with things to do. You could spend the whole day on a pub crawl, spend time amongst the books at @trinitycollegedublin, or head to the @leprechaunmuseum to learn a bit more about Irish folklore. No matter what you do, you’ll find the perfect mash up of a contemporary city that has centuries of culture built in to its core.

I’m sharing just a few of my recommendations for how you can spend a day in Dublin!

STAY: @theshelbournedublin for a historic stay at the center of the city's social and cultural life. I love it for its close proximity to shopping on Grafton Street, access to people watching at St. Stephen’s Green, and of course the top shelf bar, 1824 (plus the other two stellar bars all under one roof!).

EAT: So yes, you can easily eat your weight in fish and chips in Dublin, but it’s also possible to eat lighter fare too (but really why would you want to?!)

@terramadrecafe

PLAY: I mean we have to address the pub in the room, so let’s talk about some of the best cocktail bars in the city. @theexchequerdublin, @perukeperiwig, and @thelonghalldublin should be enough to get you started. If you’re looking for a bit of education before you start your happy hours then head to @littlemuseumdub before checking out tours at @homeofguinness and @teeling_whiskey.

Reach out when you’re ready for your next Dublin stay! I’m here to VIP your travel and make sure that you have the perfect itinerary full of Irish charm!
