WHERE TO STAY, EAT, & PLAY IN ROME, ITALY

Rome is an easy destination to access, there’s a scene for literally everything from food to fashion. And even if you’re not a history buff, you’ll quickly become one when my partners take you on a private guided tour.

I’m sharing just a few of my recommendations for how you can spend a day in Rome!

STAY: @babuino181 suites is a palace that was frequented by the owners family for centuries before it was turned into a luxury hotel. Its central location means that you can enjoy complimentary breakfast (a perk of being a @perspectivestravel client) and walk in any direction to a must see spot. The Spanish Square, Trevi Fountain, and Pantheon are all a quick stroll down the road.

EAT: There’s so much good food in Rome, that it may seem overwhelming in the best way possible. Hosts and restaurant owners will invite you over to peruse their menus and every single one will look good. So, how do you decide? Don’t! I like to have what I call a progressive dinner where I have an appetizer and then move on for my 1st course, a new stop for my 2nd course, and so on. This way you get to try the most places, and the walking offsets the calories. 😉
Add these to your list and I promise you won’t be disappointed!

PLAY: You’re staying in one of the most famous shopping districts in Rome, so you have to do a little bit of retail therapy! Visit boutiques like @maliparmiofficial, @battistoniofficial, and @genteroma for some of the best shopping in the city. Oh and there are these ancient ruins that you may also want to check out!
