What it is

Want to see more of the world? Combine multiple destinations on your bucket list by making two stops on your next trip. This is more than just a long layover, it’s the chance to narrow down your wanderlust list so that you can add more places to it. Some of my favorite combinations are city and beach pairings that I like to call “Pavement and Paradise” travel. First you embrace the energy of a vibrant city center, then you relax and restore by pampering yourself beachside. You won’t come back feeling like you need a vacation from your vacation and you’ll have gotten to see more of the world on one trip.

how it works

You have a destination in mind and want to pair it with another stop. I take that destination and find a complementary locale that is preferably under a two-hour direct flight or a three-hour drive. I’ll take into account jet lag and time changes and make recommendations on how long you should stay in each location, plus ideas for experiences, tours, and activities that can’t be missed.
