WHERE TO STAY, EAT, & PLAY IN MAUI, HAWAII
Aloha! Maui is the 2nd largest Hawaiian island, beloved for its world-famous beaches, views of migrating humpback whales, farm-to-table cuisine and the magnificent sunrise and sunset from Haleakala.
I’m sharing just a few of my recommendations for how you can spend a day in Maui!
STAY: @fsmaui is my go to spot on Maui for so many reasons. This property has some of the largest guest rooms on the island, and they don't charge a resort fee which is almost unheard of at a beachside hotel. You may think that no resort fee means no amenities, but you're wrong! Four Seasons Maui offers complimentary daily activities, a car service, a photo ambassador (perfect for solo travelers who don't just want selfies), a lounge for late departures, and so much more. You'll love the cabanas at the adults only pool and of course the service you'll be treated to is top notch.
PLAY: Air, land, or sea? No matter what you pick there are dozens of options for you to choose from every day.
One day hop in a raft to go snorkel a remote volcanic coastline. The next day will be perfect suited to see the world's largest sea cliffs from a helicopter. And no trip to Maui would be complete without an early morning wake up and a hike to Haleakala Summit for sunrise. There's so much to do in Maui, that it will be hard to do it all, so my pro tip is try to diversify your activities as much as possible and see the island from lots of different vantage points.
EAT: If you've been wondering where the best sushi, fresh fish, or tropical fruit is hiding, the answer is Hawaii! There are so many yummy places to dine, so I'm sharing just a few of my favorites in no particular order:
