WHERE TO STAY, EAT, & PLAY IN SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO

The beauty of Santa Fe is that you can be as adventurous or as laid back as you’d like and the altitude and climate make it easy for you to do lots of different kinds of activities in one day.
It’s a city that has a serious art scene, is heavily influenced by the 23 Native American Tribes, Nations, and Pueblos that have inhabited the land for hundreds of years, and has a central city center that’s easy to navigate on foot.
I’m sharing just a few of my recommendations for how you can spend a day in Santa Fe!
STAY: If you’re in New Mexico for a change of scenery then it’s going to be really hard for you to even leave your casita at @fssantafe. The freestanding casitas were built after the property was converted from a dude ranch into a resort, and really make you feel like you’re at a cozy, private home. Don’t miss the schedule of activities that encompasses everything from tequila tastings to yoga, and cooking demonstrations.
EAT: There’s so much good food in Santa Fe that you’ll need to do some walking (or mountain biking) to make room for your next meal. Don’t miss classics like @sfshed or @coyotecafeandcantina but also make reservations for @sazonsantafe and @labocasantafe to dine with the locals. If you’d rather drink your calories, a tasting at @gruetwinery will have you feeling like you’re in the Reims of New Mexico!
PLAY: A stroll down Canyon Road will be the highlight of the trip for art lovers. If you’re feeling inspired you can take a painting class or pop over to @meow__wolf for a truly unique installation. You’re only a minutes away from every kind of outdoor activity that you can imagine, so hop on a bike, ski, board, horse, or soak in the spring-fed private ojoitos at @ojosantaferesort.
